About us

VERKEHRSBUERO is Austria’s leading tourism group with the operational divisions VERKEHRSBUERO TRAVEL and VERKEHRSBUERO HOSPITALITY as well as the HOLDING division, which is an internal partner for management and services led by a team of experts. Our valued employees ensure that travel at home and abroad is a special experience. It is no coincidence that the new Group Headquarters in Vienna is called the “Home of Travel”: this is where the diverse range of products and services offered by the various brands are reflected and put together.

VERKEHRSBUERO TRAVEL

The VEREKHRSBUERO TRAVEL division plays a leading role in the leisure tourism sector. Customers receive personal advice and service at our Ruefa travel stores throughout Austria, complemented by locations operated by Eurotours and Intertravel. A wide range of travel offers – from classic beach holidays to high-quality long-haul, cultural, and cruise trips – is, of course, also available online. As a tour operator, Eurotours International has established itself as a full-service provider in multi-channel sales across the DACH region and neighboring countries, securing a leading market position. It is also the largest provider of direct-to-consumer travel sales. The colleagues of the VERKEHRSBUERO TRAVEL division attest their competences with many years of experience in the organization of group and incentive travel, events and congresses (Austropa Interconvention). The colleagues of the DDSG Blue Danube provide special moments with their ships on trips through the Wachau and along the Vienna Danube Canal.

VERKEHRSBUERO HOSPITALITY

The VERKEHRSBUERO HOSPITALITY division comprises 21 hotels operated under international franchise brands and as Austria Trend Hotels, serving as the ideal base for city and business travelers in Austria and Slovenia. The portfolio is completed by the Schloss Schönbrunn Grand Suite, two campsites, and a hostel in Vienna. The leading Austrian hotel group also offers event spaces for gatherings of all kinds. Palais Events operates the historic venues Palais Ferstel, Palais Daun-Kinsky, the Vienna Stock Exchange Halls, as well as the world-famous Café Central in Vienna’s city center.
